Mary Ann Cribb collected 'Bun Pennies' (old pennies wirh a portrait of Queen Victoria wearing her hair in a bun at the back of her head), for St. Mary's Church. A lady named Mrs. Frost used to call at the house regularly for the collection of pennies. Grandad Baigent nicknamed her 'Mrs. Cold Weather'. We all saved these pennies and gave them to Nanny Baigent for her collection.
