OBITUARY. It is with deep sorrow that we chronicle the death of Mrs. Robt. Lee, formerly Miss Rhoda Skinner. She passed away at her home in Amy Sunday, May 6, surrounded by Lee immediate family who s>o kindly administered to every want. Her illness which began about a year and a half ago, was liver trouble with complications. Through this long period she was always patient and thoughtful of othe>rs and bore her sufferings with a heroic spirit. Rhoda Skinner was born in England Dec. 11, 1843, and came to New York with her parents at the age of three years. In 1854 they came to Wis. In 1861 >they moved to Dunn County which has been her home ever since. She was married to Robt. Lee Jan. 1, 1861. Two sons were born of this union who together with their father, five brothers and two step>children remain to mourn her death. Truly a good woman has gone from our midst who is not only mourned by relatives but by the community at large. She was a member of the Amy Aid society and the fir>st one to be called away by death. She was also a firm temperance worker. The funeral occurred May 8, from the Amy Baptist church, Rev. Vaughn officiating. The large concourse of friends and the ma>ny beautiful floral tokens bespeak the esteem and love in which the departed was held. Interment took place in the Waneka cemetery. Dunn Co.
